Multiple development steps
It is possible in visionCATS to perform the development several times without using the AMD 2. By adding for example several HPTLC PRO Module DEVELOPMENT steps to a single method/analysis, the user can configure the solvent front position for each step:
One of the development steps is considered Master. The front position for this step will be the main plate layout solvent front position (Plate Layout). This is important because this position will be used by default by visionCATS to determine the length of tracks being scanned by Scanner 3/4 instruments, and being computed by the Visualizer (see 𝑅ꜰ Tools and Tracks).
The other development steps are not Master and the solvent front position can be configured directly in the steps parameters:
